We believe...

The Bible

We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. (2 Tim 3: 16) 

The Godhead

We believe that God is one but manifested in 3 Persons ~ the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, being co-equal (Phil 2: 6)

The Father is greater than all and is the sender of the Word (John 14: 28, John 16: 28)

The Son is the Word manifested into flesh and has existed with the Father from the beginning (John 1: 14, 18)

The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son and is eternal  (Jn 15: 26)

Eternal Life—Hell or heaven

We believe that Jesus Christ lived, died and rose again for the salvation of mankind.  New Birth is necessary to all men and when experienced produces eternal life. The one who dies in sin  is hopelessly lost and doomed for hell.( 2 Cor 7: 10, Jn 3: 3-5, 1 Jn 5: 12, Rev 19: 20,)

The Death & Resurrection of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of mankind and He rose from the dead in His glorified body on the third day ascending into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father. Rom 10: 6-7 / Eph 1: 20,21

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift from God by grace by faith in Jesus Christ.  That all who believe in the name of Jesus Christ will be saved by turning from sin to repentance and trusting in His death and resurrection. Rom 3: 23, 24 / Eph 2: 8

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism as the immersion in water and that it is a direct command of our Lord Jesus for believers. It is a symbol of the believers identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matt 28: 19, Rom 6: 4, Col 2: 12, Acts 8: 36-39) 

Holy Ghost Baptism

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and that the Spirit is a gift  promised by our Lord Jesus to all believers and is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Ghost gives utterance. (Acts 2: 38, 39, Acts 19: 1-7, Acts 2: 4) 

Sanctification

We believe that without holiness no man can see  the Lord. Sanctification is a definite but progressive work of grace.  We believe in conforming to the image of the Son by the help of the Holy Spirit  until consummation of salvation at Christ’s return. (Heb 12: 14, 1 Thess 5: 23, 2 Pet 3: 18, 2 Cor 3: 18, Gal 5: 22, 1 Cor 1: 30) 

Divine Healing 

We believe that divine healing is God’s will for every believer and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by laying on of hands. (James 5: 14, Mk 16: 18, Isa 53: 4,5 1 Pet 2: 24) 

Tithes & Offerings:

We believe in giving of tithes and offerings  which forms an essential part of worship and are potent ways of invoking the blessings of God. Tithes and offerings are God’s ways of prospering His people and maintaining the welfare of the church.
